57% of the undesignated gifts received by Wellspring Calgary in 2010 came from caring individuals and groups who made it their mission to support individuals living with cancer and their families by leading their own community fundraisers
Our community supporters personify the meaning of philanthropy through their pursuit of excellence for the greater good. Creating and adapting their own events to raise funds takes imagination and determination, two things our supporters have plenty of when working to ensure critical emotional/spiritual care is available for anyone facing a cancer diagnosis. Wellspring Calgary is lucky to have a long list of individuals and groups who dedicate time throughout the year to organize third-party fundraisers thereby reaching a vastly different network of generous donors. To Wellspring, these endeavours are true measures of the love of humanity.
