Endowment Campaign

$3.4 million of $6 million is raised

Since its inception, Wellspring board members have advanced an endowment campaign total in support of building a sustainable model of support to $3.4 million. In 2009, an agreement was secured from an anonymous donor for a pledge of $1MM to finish off the campaign once we have raised $5MM.

As a corporation or an individual, you can contribute a one-time gift to the Wellspring Calgary Endowment Fund and help us to continue to offer services free of charge forever.

THE INVESTMENT

The Calgary Wellspring Centre

Annual operating costs for our centre are approximately $450.000. These costs will be sustained by a $6.0MM endowment along with a combination of third-party fundraising, donations from service users, targeted annual giving campaigns and special events such as our annual golf tournament.

Operating costs are for facility & maintenance, key personnel, as well as costs associated with delivery of the service programs.

A separate Capital Campaign is also underway. Funds from the capital campaign will be used to renovate and furnish the Wellspring Calgary facility.
